How to connect to Zapier?
Follow the steps here.
After connecting to Zapier and setting up the account, now let's learn how to set different triggers and actions in different scenarios.

How to set triggers.

Trigger: New Candidate Added to a Job
By using this trigger, employer would like to have all newly added candidates to any job pipeline in other apps like Excel, Trello, etc.
Another usage is when an employer would like to send candidates specific emails through their own email address or want to send them assignment by their chosen app on Zapier.

Steps:
1- Select QPage in trigger step,
2- Select the "New Candidate Added to a Job" trigger,


3- Select any actions you would like to use. Here, we are using "add a new row" in Excel sheet action as example,
4- Select the outputs from trigger that you want to have in the G-sheet,
5- Now test and review and check whether everything is working right,
6- Now head to your workspace, and open a job from jobs page here. If there isn't any job there yet, you need to create and publish one (how?),
7- Open the contact pool (here),
8- Add one of the contacts/candidates to the job pipeline, if there is not any contact, you need to add them: here
9- Now time to check whether the information recorded in the Execl sheet or not.



Trigger: Candidate Applied for a Job Opening

Using the trigger will help you invite candidates who applied for a job to special assessments or add them to a different databases or any other action.
When a new candidate applies to a job vacancy, the trigger will send the information to the action you set in the Zap.

Steps:
1- Select QPage in trigger step,
2- Select the "Candidate Applied for a Job Opening",

3- Select any actions you would like to use. Here, we used Excel sheet as example,
4- Test, review, and check whether everything is working,
5- Now head to your workspace, and open a job from jobs page here. If You did not create any job yet, you need to create and publish one,
6- Open job ad on the career page and apply with a fake/real information,

P.s: Bare in mind you need to use email address, if your chosen action will send emails and messages to the candidate.
7- Now time to check whether the information has recorded in the G-sheet or not.

Trigger: Job Published & Job Unpublished
Setting Job Published trigger will help you send job ads after publishing to different job-boards that means you can spread the opportunity even more.
There is Job Unpublished that employers use when they don't want the job be accessible anywhere anymore.

Steps:
1- Select QPage in trigger step,
2- Select the "Publish a job" trigger,
3- Select any actions you would like to use. Here, we are using "Send a new email" in GMail action as example,
4- Put any values into each fields,
5- Test, review, and check whether everything is working,
6- Now head to your workspace, create a job pipeline and publish it, and later check whether the job information has sent to your email inbox.

P.s: Un-publish is the same process, only thing you need to do is pressing on published button in last step of job creation and unpublish the job ad.



Trigger: Candidate Rejected

The trigger will help you set customized actions when a candidate gets rejected.

Steps:
1- Select QPage in trigger step,
2- Select the "Candidate Rejected" trigger. You can set it for all job pipelines or one of the jobs in your jobs list,
3- Select any actions you would like to use. Here, we are using "Send a new email" in Gmail action as example,
4- Select and enter values you want to have in the email inbox later, like candidate information,
5- Test, review, and check whether everything is working,
6- Now head to your workspace here, and Select one of candidate who already in a job pipeline and reject them.
How to reject a candidate:
Choose one of the steps where a candidate is already available,


Click on the candidate card to see the candidate profile. Later, on the right side, scroll. Then, press on "Reject" button.




Trigger: Candidate Moved to a Step in Job Pipeline/Cohort/Sequence
When you manually or automatically shift a candidate to a new step in these triggers, the action is called.

Steps:
1- Select QPage in trigger step,
2- Select one of the triggers: "Candidate Moved to a Step in Job Pipeline"
3- Choose any action you want to use. We'll use "add a new row" in G-sheet action as an example here.
4- Choose and insert values that you wish to have on the G-sheet afterwards, such as the candidate's email address.
5- Test, review, and check whether everything is working fine,
6- Now head to your workspace here, and Select one of candidate who already in a job pipeline and move them to a new step.
7- Trigger should be executed and send the information to the action you want.

How to move a candidate:

There are 2 ways to do this:
Navigate to the jobs page, Choose one of the jobs and then open Kanban view. Later, grab the candidate card, and move it to next step.



Alternatively, open one of the steps that contains at least one candidate and press on "move to next step".


About Cohort and Sequence:
Cohort:
Navigate to the cohort tab from contact pool here
Choose one of the steps in the cohort and move the candidate to next step.


Sequence:
Navigate to the sequence tab from contact pool here
Select a candidate from the contact pool and add them to a sequence.


P.s: Candidates will move automatically when you add them to a sequence, so you won't have to do anything else.

Actions

Action: Create and publish job

Steps:
1- Open Zapier and choose a Trigger. I selected "New Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets" here,
2- Choose QPage in the action step and pick "Create a job" as action.
3- After that, you may add the "Publish a job" action.
4- Test, review, and check whether everything is working fine,
5- Now head to your workspace here, and check whether everything is working correctly,

Action: Create a contact and add it to job pipelines, cohorts, or sequences
This action will support you in gathering any contact information from any channel and afterwards putting it into other components such as contact pools, job pipelines, cohorts, and sequences.

Steps:
1- Open Zapier and choose a Trigger. I selected "New Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets" here,
2- Choose QPage in the action step and pick "Create a contact" as action,
3- After that, you may add the "Add contact to a cohort" action,
4- Test, review, and check whether everything is working fine,
5- Now go to your workspace here, and see if the contact/candidate has been added,
6- Open the cohort here, and make sure the applicant is also there.

How to create and add contact/candidate to job pipeline:


Action: Find a contact and add it to job pipelines, cohorts, or sequences
This action will help to find previously added contact data and adding it to various parts such as contact pools, job pipelines, cohorts, and sequences.

Steps:
1- Open Zapier and choose a Trigger. I selected "New Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets" here,
2- Choose QPage in the action step and pick "Find a contact" as action,
3- After that, you may add the "Add contact to a sequence" action,
P.s. The most critical step is to add the ID found on the "find a contact" action to the ID field. You can also learn more by watching the video.
4- Test, review, and check whether everything is working fine,
5- Now head to your workspace, Navigate to sequence tab here, and make sure the contact/candidate is also there.

How to find and add candidates to sequence:


Action: Update Action on Candidate Evaluation
This action will help companies in consolidating any type of evaluation or assignment result from other service's triggers.

Steps:
1- Open Zapier and choose a Trigger. I selected "New Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets" here,
P.s: It will help companies in manually managing and entering results in the G-sheet and sending them over Zapier.
2- Choose QPage in the action step and pick "Update Action on Candidate Evaluation" as action,
3- Test, review, and check whether everything is working fine,
5- Now head to your workspace - Navigate to jobs page here, and make sure the the contact/candidate's result is also added in the evaluation tab.
